Julie A. Pangelinan
Chief Financial Officer
Julie Pangelinan is chief financial officer for Interstate Hotels & Resorts. She is responsible for oversight of the Company's accounting, treasury, tax, budgeting and analysis, information technology, asset management, and risk management functions.
Pangelinan previously was chief financial officer of Sunrise Senior Living, Inc., a New York Stock Exchange-listed company that owns and operates more than 300 senior living communities in the U.S., Canada and the United Kingdom. She formerly was vice president, accounting policy for Marriott International, Inc. Pangelinan spent her early career in public accounting, rising to audit partner with BDO Seidman, LLP. A Certified Public Accountant, she has extensive experience in both U.S. and international finance and accounting, as well as tax, transaction analysis, risk management, human resources, treasury, information technology, budgeting and forecasting, and purchasing functions.
Pangelinan is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a board member of Alternative House. She graduated cum laude from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with an emphasis in accounting.
